Just a half mile from The Salt Shed

For generations, Morton Salt has been synonymous with this part of town. So, when the historic Morton Salt factory transformed into the Salt Shed concert venue, we welcomed its patrons.   

The Salt Shed and Backstory Tavern share a history spanning nearly a century.  The spirit of friendship, community and good times built between neighbors remains. We look forward to creating memories with the next generation of concertgoers, as we did with Morton Salt factory workers.
